Can’t get enough with the contests?

So, remember the contest?

Okay, so now you’re learning some of my secrets.

1) I LOVE love LOVE starting projects! Finishing them… mmm… not so much. (Duh. I mean I’m writing this post during work hours time I surely could be putting to better use.)

2) I fear conflict and delivering bad news. How can I tell anyone they didn’t win?

3) Despite my snarky, grumpy, vitriolic side (grr), I genuinely do believe and see the good in everyone /everything. Awww. Really, I loved loved loved EVERY entry I got.

For these and other reasons, while the contest was FUN FUN FUN, I should have realized picking a winner would be… challenging, or as we say at my place of work, a Learning Opportunity.

Anywho, that coupled with travel and work demanding I do work has contributed to my delay in posting results. Also, I’m a giant slacker/ champion excuse-maker.

But I love you people, my loyal ‘logger friends, so…. I pushed past these Issues and am ready to announce The Winner of Washwords First Blogger Contest.

To anon or not to anon, that is the question

I started this blog with the hopes that it would spur my own writing, be a therapeutic and creative outlet, and maybe, maybe inspire one or two other people along the way, or touch them somehow. Besides my mom.

It’s done those things and I’m so, so grateful.

Along the way, though, maybe my journalistic heart or simple love of attention has been awoken and while it was a conscious decision to stay anonymous (hell, I didn’t even tell anyone about the blog for a few YEARS), I’m starting to want to fess up to who I am.
