I love the idea of this........tiny essays about real things, people, places.

		<description>Very interesting concept.  I have my students write journal entries every day at the beginning of class, except I provide them with quotes, photographs or videos to watch and then ask them to write short responses.  At first, they don&#039;t know what to write, and they are a little intimidated but as the semester progresses their  flow of ideas improves and they do not want to stop when I say stop after a few minutes.  This form of brainstorming that you present here is more specifically defined and different.  I will try it out as well.
