The day McCain announced VP, Fox News had headlines that proclaimed, “McCain chooses Woman.” This is extremely disturbing. If he had chosen someone of a race other than Caucasion, would their headline have been, “McCain Chooses (insert racial slur here)”?

This election so far is not about history in the making for me. It’s about how much history needs to be made in order to end the apparent acceptability of sexism.

if only it were that simple to implement. seems like there’s a dearth of common sense and courtesy in washington (present company excluded, of course) because this:
